ob3 beta 2 released

25 September 2011

I am delighted to announce the release of OB3 (beta 2).  Today is a significant step towards delivering on our commitment to transform the way graduate education is delivered, by supporting online study, collaboration, content creation and publication.

OB3 beta 2 is the first of several releases over coming months.  Today's release provides a multimedia document editor for students and staff to easily create rich study documents online.

OB3 has been designed for busy people.  It assumes no prior knowledge other than the ability to edit a document and browse the web.  This means that everyone can feel at home in OB3 and be productive with next to no training.  Use copy and paste or drag and drop to easily import content into OB3.

Most important though is what we leave out: the difficulty associated with typical elearning tools.

For our existing customers, we will begin issuing you with accounts for login at http://ob3.oceanbrowser.com

Interested in checking OB3 out?  Please sign up for the public beta at http://ob3.cc
